Job Responsibilities:
∎ Operates Vehicle Tracking system, which entails monitoring and maintaining the system's database of vehicles and drivers.
∎ Monitor speeding, idling and engine door alerts and suitably act upon them.
∎ To ensure that accurate daily records are generated and submitted to the VTS manager on a daily basis.
∎ To achieve maximum levels of schedule compliance on all routes.
∎ To resolve issues pertaining to route deviations. Enters and maintains landmark information in database for location and identification of all vehicles. To liaise with drivers and breakdown team for necessary requirements and follow-ups.
∎ Assist on-road service delivery team by providing vehicle locations, expected arrival times, traffic blockages and rerouting of vehicles.
∎ To take into consideration all company policies, procedures, and standards and to maintain records of same.
∎ Maintain positive and constructive working relationships with other members of the operations and workshop team.
∎ To undertake other reasonable tasks requested by the VTS Supervisor/ Manager or other Managers within the Company.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Knowledge of computerized data management systems;
∎ Ability to operate a computer with speed and accuracy;
∎ Knowledge of the operation and scheduling of vehicles;
∎ Ability to work effectively with constant interruptions and meet scheduled time lines;
∎ Ability to treat information, data and records confidentially Communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
