Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Candidates having MBA/ Diploma in SCM will be preferred
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
supply chain management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain all communication with the suppliers, Bank, Customs authority, C& F agents, Insurance companies, Port & Shipping agencies, CCI&E, BIDA, and regulatory bodies.
∎ Ensure all commercial activities e.g. Proforma Invoice collection, LC Opening, LC amendment, import through LCA, TT opening, bill of entry submission to bank etc.
∎ Check import shipping documents (e.g. Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Country of Origin Certificate, Bill of lading/ AWB, COA, TDS, MSDS etc).
∎ Track shipments and shipping docs and provide reports to the Management regarding LC, Shipment, goods location and their safe delivery on weekly/ fortnightly and monthly basis.
∎ Maintain and update the LC database in the software. Present updates weekly basis with the management meeting.
∎ Settle all bills of C&F agent, insurance companies and other stakeholders.
∎ Coordinate with all F& A dept for settling all import payment, duty and other payables.
∎ Collect Marine Cover note & policy, lodge insurance claims and follow up until final settlement of claims.
∎ Find relating H.S. Code and customs duty structure for import of raw materials, machinery and equipment for Pharmaceuticals industry and handled shipping, clearing and forwarding independently as per Bangladesh Govt. Tariff rules.
∎ Communicate with warehouse management to update delivery/ receiving of imported consignments.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 32 years
∎ Preference will be given to those who have working experience in large industries. For exceptional candidate experience may be relaxed
∎ Excellent knowledge on MS application
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
