Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/MBA in Accounting/AIS from a recognized University.
∎ Post-Graduation in Supply Chain Management (PGDSCM) is mandatory.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist to review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing strategic and operational activities;
∎ Assess appropriate product/material handling equipment needs and staffing levels;
∎ Interact with internal stakeholders, understand their needs and consult with them to build quality procurement strategies aligned to business requirements
∎ Develop strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers, dealing with any potential issues and concerns, and attending regular meetings to ensure open communication
∎ Appraise vendor manufacturing ability through on-site visits and measurements and monitor supplier performance meet quality and delivery requirements
∎ Collect quotations from different suppliers/vendors from local and as well as from foreign vendors/suppliers and prepare comparison for approval.
∎ Prepare comparative statement before purchase & submit to management for Approval
∎ Collaborate with other departments, such as production, sourcing, merchandising, procurement, engineering, and quality assurance, Commercial etc. to identify or qualify new suppliers
∎ Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows
∎ Confer with supply chain planners to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products
∎ Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, requirements planning and inventory control
∎ Prepare and facilitate presentations about market analysis and possible growth

∎ Sharp negotiating skills with a proven track record of successful negotiations with suppliers
∎ Work in innovative way for simplifying tasks and assignments
∎ Good problem solving and decision making skills which require independent and original thinking
∎ Ability to focus attention and continually drive to achieve desired outcome
∎ Exceptional communication skills delivered both verbally and in writing in English
∎ Strong people management skills - fairness and ability to motivate and manage the team
∎ Well conversant in MS Office.
