Job Context:
∎ Candidates must have experience handling suppliers in the field of purchasing the following items: Commodities Items / Food Items; Electronics Items & Hardware & Accessories (Offset Paper, Iron, Cement, Kobza, Pad Lock, MS box pipe and GP Sheet).
∎ Who don`t have experience in purchasing the above products, they do not need to apply to this circular.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To keep liaison with local suppliers.
∎ Sourcing, supplier selection, rate finalization, negotiation through the company's procurement procedure.
∎ Correspondence with supplier, Collect Quotation, finalize the payment terms, delivery terms and delivery date independently.
∎ To finalize procurement plan within estimated time frame.
∎ Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers who are aligned with the company's needs.
∎ Manage and control all the company's external suppliers with particular emphasis on the purchase.
∎ Any other assignment is to be given by the management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3 years purchase experience in food related item.
∎ Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Words, Excel, Access, etc.) and other Software.
∎ Able to work well under stress in a fast-paced environment.
∎ Ability to bargain for the maximum price discount.
