∎ Organikare is currently seeking motivated, innovated and business-minded professionals looking for a challenging career in the FMCG industry/cosmetics/personal care/house-hold/skin care products who have worked in the procurement sector and will be responsible for procurement and logistic. Those who are experienced and have enough skill are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Obtain purchase requirements submitted by the concerned departments (Production).
∎ Sourcing product and supplier locally and globally, exploring market and vendor development.
∎ Ensure checking of price of the procured products by visiting the market frequently and prepare comparative statement.
∎ Maintain product's specification in time of procurement to reduce the rejection of purchased items and monitor the on-time delivery of different suppliers and vendors.
∎ Search for new and alternative supply sources and update vendor database on a regular basis.
∎ Responsible for preparing purchase order (PO) and complete necessary procedures; such as: documentation, approval, etc.; to mobilize the procurement.
∎ Prepare all kinds of bills of purchase accurately by receiving challan and submit to the Accounts Department within stipulated time.
∎ Ensures that all procurement requirement (PR) submitted for the production is processed and fulfilled in accordance with Group Procurement Procedures.
∎ Review all procurement documents not to prior to submission but from early stage to the end of the process to ensure adherence to organizational policies and best practices.
∎ Correspond with vendors regarding price, product availability, delivery terms & requisite documents required for payment process.
∎ Coordinate with supplier / CNF Agent / Customs House / Bank / Insurance Agent / Head Office Finance Team, and undertaking all the requirements activities for air/sea/road shipments for facilitating clearance for consignment from port.
∎ Ensure all procurement related files are securely and accurately filled to facilitate ease of retrieval on demand.
∎ Control the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
∎ Attend to any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 32 years
∎ At least 02 years Proven working experience as Executive/ Sr. Executive, Procurement.
∎ The applicant should have experience in the following area(s): Procurement and logistic.
∎ The applicant should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Personal care products, Cosmetics, House-hold products and Skin care products.
∎ Analytical skills and attention to detail.
∎ Understanding of trends and an ability to respond customers' requirements.
∎ Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas.
∎ Must be a team player.
∎ Ability to manage and allocate budgets.
∎ Written and verbal communication skills.
∎ Experience with and an understanding of market research.
∎ Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
∎ Ability to think strategically and come up with campaigns.
