Job Context:
∎ Will assist the Chief Executive Office in Port Operation and Import.
∎ One of the leading Shipping Company is looking for a Port & Depot Operation officer in Chattogram, Bangladesh.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare COPINO & COPRAN and submit to slot operator and respective departments of port with other necessary supporting documents.
∎ Manage the operational work with port, custom & depot.
∎ Arrange Empty & Laden Permission.
∎ Submit inventory report to principal.
∎ Follow up and transfer empty units from port to depot.
∎ Follow up with depot and port for preventing shut-out of laden units.
∎ Make good relationship with depot, port and custom departments.
∎ Minimize the operational cost of agent and principals.
∎ Communicate with principals and follow their instruction.
∎ Collect EOR from vendor and submit to principal for repairing.
∎ Timely submission of reports set by the management as per the deadline
∎ Responsibilities for smooth discharging of IB containers
∎ To Obtain necessary permission from Different official Navy, Crb & Cpa .Police station, Reefer connection Etc
∎ To observe all kind of exceptional cargo formalities like as ICD, security papers, Money, currency papers, Damage containers etc
∎ D.G cargo formalities, resealing formalities etc
∎ To observe custom manifest amendment formalities
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 3-9 years of freight forwarding experience in selling / marketing of air/sea products.
∎ Excellent spoken & written communication skills.
Salary: Negotiable
