Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare Export Related documents by following L/C terms and Buyer guidelines.
∎ Assist to prepare commercial invoice, packing list, Detail Packing list for export, and ensure online shipment booking & documentation for Export.
∎ Assist to correspondence with foreign and local buyers for various export issues (e.g. export L/C amendment, correction L/C terms and conditions according to Bangladesh Bank rules & regulations, shipment conditions etc.) through phone and e-mail.
∎ Coordinate Back to Back LC related activities.
∎ Assist to submit all Import and export related statements and returns.
∎ Correspond with Buyers, C & F, and Shipping lines independently and maintain data.
∎ Prepare and present export documents to the negotiating banks promptly.
∎ Handle and execute cash-intensive processes.
∎ Communicate and coordinate with the commercial department. ( i.e Export, Import, Bank, Audit, EPB, Khamarbari and ministry offices)
∎ Ensure smooth delivery through communicating with lo0gistics and CNF.
∎ Maintain export data to generate reports and present from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong interpersonal and negotiation skill.
∎ Strong command over written and verbal communication in English.
∎ Very good knowledge of MS Office applications and especially in Excel.
∎ High standards of business ethics and professional conduct.Strong Knowledge of Bangladesh Import & Export Policy. Good knowledge of vendor management, C&F agent, and networking with NBR, Customs, and VAT authorities. Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics, Export/ Import through L/C/ SC/TT, Documentation (CI, PL, CO, BL), UCP600 and Incoterms 2010.
∎ Familiar with Certificate of Origin issuance from Chamber of Commerce, Phytosanitary Certificates, SAFTA, SAPTA, GSP, REX, and China Co. will add advantage.
