Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent with NIBOSH/IOSH/NVQ3 or equivalent qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Health Safety and Environment, Project Implementation
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitate internal auditing and external auditing as per divisional audit schedule and ensure tracking and close of remedial action.
∎ Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations
∎ Provide Monthly Safety reports, HSE statistics, and report all site HSE activities, to the Corporate HSE manager.
∎ Ordering repairs for unsafe and/or damaged equipment
∎ Focusing on prevention by keeping up with equipment maintenance and employee training
∎ Sharing information, suggestions, and observations with project leadership to create consistency in safety standards throughout the HSE team.
∎ Coordinate inspections of project and facility operations and carry out management "Walk Through' monthly with site management.
∎ Monitor the housekeeping program to consistently improve its standards.
∎ Investigating causes of accidents and other unsafe conditions on the job site.
∎ Ensure that the relevant safety instructions, signs, and symbols are displayed in the prominent areas
∎ Prepare and implement HA (Hazard Analysis), Risk assessment, JSA Job safety Analysis, SWA (Stop work Authority), BBS (Behavior Based Safety) card and others all job related procedures.
∎ Conduct daily toolbox meetings, and emergency drills and advise the line supervision for proper exercise in the work sites.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven experience as a safety officer/executive with an understanding of Bangladesh labor laws & other international OHS standards, Training, Risk Assessment, Analysis, Auditing, Inspection, Communication, and Corporate Responsibility.
∎ Must be able to work with minimum supervision and have the ability to follow up on implementations.
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 30000 (Monthly)
