Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/IPE) or Business graduate from any Public or reputed Private University with distinctive academic background.
∎ Post graduate diploma in SCM will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Commercial, Purchase/ Procurement, Supply Chain
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for processing all relevant documents for foreign procurement.
∎ Prepare import documents for LC/TT transmission to the buyer
∎ Make communication and follow up with the bank to accomplish the realization process.
∎ Receive and analyze the purchase request from the user department.
∎ Collect the Price quotations from different suppliers and prepare comparative statement for Procurement Communication/Management approval.
∎ Negotiate contracts with vendor, prepare WO for the purchase and get approval from concerned authority.
∎ Negotiation of best possible procurement terms and conditions from authentic vendor for placing order by issuing PO/PI.
∎ Follow up with vendors till in-house of desired product within the stipulated time and take corrective actions instantly for any discrepancies.
∎ Ensure submission of bills and other documents regularly and properly to concern departments to clear payment as per committed period with vendor.
∎ Vendor Performance evaluation and keep sourcing for new qualified vendors and maintain supplier relationships
Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidates having Experience in engineering product procurement will get preference
∎ Sound knowledge on LC documents.
∎ Hands on experience in raw material planning
∎ Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
∎ Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
∎ Good command in MS Office
∎ Must have the mindset to work under pressure with positive attitude
