Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist customers in cargo booking enquiries and seek approval of cargo shipment from overseas agents within standard time.
∎ Utilize in-house software to Issue dummy House Airway Bill (HAWB) to local shippers after approval and receipt of goods for Export & Import
∎ Provide cargo plan to shippers after confirmation of cargo carrier rates from Airliners. Update necessary documents/files in Cargo Software (E.G. LIMA, Pepkor etc.) for documentation.
∎ Ensure exceptional customer services by communicating necessary information on time.
∎ Coordinate with support offices at Airport, Warehouse, Brokerage and Chittagong that secures on-time support in cargo shipments.
∎ Provide regular updates on Export & Import status, pre-alerts to overseas agent prior to delivery and prepare invoices for shippers.
∎ Ensure regular customer feedback/communication and utilize feedback data to customize services that are unique and secures preference of service over competitors, and reduces customer complaints.
∎ Ensure timely reports/updates are prepared for concerned offices and follow-up on all queries for smooth operations.
∎ Monitor and ensure compliance to Local and International regulations in freight forwarding for uninterrupted operations.
∎ Maintain stable business relations with Private and Government agencies, organizations, other stakeholders that attracts more business queries, and hence expanding the customer base.
∎ Regular preparation of Export & Import Shipment files and keep record of all shipment documents.
∎ Coordinate with credit control team in following up on all market dues. Collaborate with Accounts and Cargo team to review Terms and Conditions of FF services with shippers if required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have on-the-job knowledge (hands-on experience) in dealing with local and foreign clients/counterparts and working with cross-functional teams
∎ Experience in delivering up-market customer services
∎ Experience in recurring correspondence, liaison with foreign clients
∎ Possess up-market standards of proficiency in Business Communication and English.
∎ Proficient in computer applications; eg. Microsoft Excel, Word, ERP, etc.
