Job Responsibilities:
∎ To play a vital role as a team member of the commercial team in ensuring timely procurement of all types CKD Shipment and Spare Parts shipment as needed to maintain an uninterrupted production and sales schedule of the organization .
∎ To manage and plan/forecast the availability of CKD, CBU and Spare Parts shipment as per requirements of the organization.
∎ To correspond with the C&F agent and arrange the C&F costing within proper time.
∎ To correspond with the suppliers for on-time shipment, pro forma invoice (PI), delivery etc.
∎ To initiate the procurement process through LC and on-time LC opening in co-ordination with banks/insurance companies.
∎ To coordinate with suppliers/C&F agents and under taking all the requirements activities for air/sea/road shipments for facilitating clearance for consignment from port.
∎ To prepare L/C opening schedule on a monthly basis after assess the requirements of capital machinery and its related parts.
∎ To maintain liaison with all the other respective departments to get input for effective and efficient raw material management and purchase.
∎ To develop and maintain effective contacts and working relationships with key suppliers and banks.
∎ To monitor the C&F agent and forwarder performance .

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s)-Commercial, Foreign Purchase/Procurement, LC, DP and Incoterms.
∎ Should have good knowledge about shipping documents.
∎ Should have good knowledge of HS Code.
