Job Context:

∎ Scope of work: Concern of Environmental
∎ Work Hours: 8:00 - 17:00 (Saturday- Thursday)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Consult with client (BR) and with internal and external environmental specialist, engineers, and regulators to plan and deliver projects.
∎ Develop the project budget to achieve revenue and save cost.
∎ Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure all facets of the project are delivered in accordance with the scope, budget, and schedule.
∎ Review and interpret planning and approval requirements, specialist technical reports, and other environmental documents.
∎ Oversee and participate in the preparation and review of multidisciplinary environmental and social reports.
∎ Developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental management systems to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
∎ Conducting environmental monitoring, including air, noise, soil, water quality monitoring, waste management, and so on.
∎ Developing and implementing environmental policies and procedures, including waste management plans, pollution prevention programs.
∎ Monthly monitoring and reporting on environmental performance, conditions.
∎ Investigating and addressing environmental complaints, violations, and incidents.
∎ Managing and monitoring major environmental impacts.
∎ Participating in emergency response activities, such as spills and other environmental incidents.
∎ Communicating regularly with management and employees, providing environmental performance and compliance updates.
∎ Coordinate with the project team in collecting and verifying as well as reporting sustainability data.
∎ Provide high level advice and guidance to the management team in areas of environmental management and associated communications.
∎ Identify and implement, where appropriate, initiatives that identify the project as a leader in environmental and sustainability practices
∎ Providing advice and support to key internal stakeholders regarding environmental requirements, risks and management measures
∎ Coordinating and facilitating environmental risk assessments, environment and cultural heritage approvals for new assets and projects, and the preparation of Environment Management Plans and Cultural Heritage Management Plans for assets and activities within the region
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 10 years' work experience in Multinational Companies, Infrastructure Development /Construction Companies preferred.
∎ Advance skill in office applications
∎ Fluency in English
∎ Those who have the experience to work with Japanese multinational companies will get preference
∎ Very strong written and verbal communications skills.
∎ Professional certifications to support years of experience.
∎ Diligent in documentation, reporting and tasks tracking ability
∎ Time management, good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with friendly attitude and ability to work in a team environment
∎ Ability to work under very limited supervision
∎ Flexible with working hours
Salary:
∎ BDT 100,000 - 200,000. Consider the experience
