Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Generate item requests based on the production plan to ensure timely procurement of raw materials, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
∎ Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.
∎ Collect and summarize daily production data, including output figures, defect rates, and downtime.
∎ Input production data accurately into the ERP system for real-time tracking and reporting.
∎ Develop effective manpower schedules to ensure smooth operation and optimal utilization of resources.
∎ Coordinate shift changes and breaks to maintain continuous production flow.
∎ Create and maintain reports on raw material consumption for accurate inventory tracking and forecasting.
∎ Analyze consumption trends to optimize material usage and minimize waste.
∎ Analyze production reports to track key performance metrics such as yield, cycle time, and throughput.
∎ Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to enhance productivity and efficiency.
∎ Arrange and participate in monthly production target meetings to review progress and address challenges.
∎ Collaborate with stakeholders to adjust targets and strategies as needed.
∎ Ensure alignment of day-to-day operations with the production plan to meet targets and quality standards.
∎ Address deviations promptly and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency.
∎ Follow up on current production activities and develop recommendations for process improvements.
∎ Lead initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety in production operations.
∎ Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, maintenance, and quality assurance, to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness.
∎ Develop detailed BOMs for production processes, specifying required materials and quantities.
∎ Ensure accuracy and completeness of BOM data to facilitate efficient production planning and execution.
∎ Conduct breakdown analysis to identify root causes and develop improvement plans to enhance equipment reliability and uptime.
∎ Provide guidance and support to production teams to ensure adherence to high-quality standards and specifications.
∎ Implement efficient production practices to minimize wastage and optimize resource utilization.
∎ Play a pivotal role in integrating sustainability practices into production operations to drive environmental responsibility and ethical consciousness.
∎ Drive and implement operational excellence initiatives to optimize efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance organizational performance.
