Education:
∎ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ 3+ years of experience in the design and development of lithium-ion battery packs or similar energy storage systems.
∎ Strong understanding of lithium-ion battery chemistry, cell characteristics, and battery pack design principles.
∎ Proficiency in electrical, thermal, and mechanical modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, ANSYS, CAD).
∎ Hands-on experience with battery (Lithium, Lead Acid, Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH), Alkaline Batteries) testing and validation procedures.
∎ Familiarity with battery management systems, cell balancing, and thermal management techniques.
∎ Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and project management skills.·       Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
∎ Experience in the electric vehicle or energy storage industry.
∎ Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to lithium-ion battery safety (e.g., UN38.3, UL1973, IEC 62133).
∎ Proficiency in programming and software development (e.g., Python, C/C++, LabVIEW).

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design and develop lithium-ion battery packs, including cell selection, pack architecture, thermal management, and battery management system (BMS) integration.
∎ Perform electrical, mechanical, and thermal modeling and simulation to optimize battery pack performance, safety, and reliability.
∎ Conduct extensive testing, including abuse testing, to validate the performance and safety of battery packs.
∎ Develop and implement quality control and manufacturing processes to ensure consistent product quality.
∎ Collaborate with R&D, procurement, and production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement continuous improvements.
∎ Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and safety standards related to lithium-ion battery technology.
∎ Document all design decisions, test results, and project activities in a clear and organized manner.
