Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Sonargaon Steel Fabricate Limited is one of the sister concerns of MGI which is established with an ambitious plan to enter into Steel Structure Business. The position of Erection Engineer needs to possess a strong understanding of construction principles, engineering concepts, and safety regulations. This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring that construction projects are completed successfully and meet quality, safety, and timeline requirements.
∎ Develop erection plans and schedules by collaborating with project managers and engineers to consider project requirements and safety guidelines.
∎ Determine the most efficient and safe methods for assembly and installation of Steel structure as per design.
∎ Manage and allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to ensure a smooth erection process of steel structure.
∎ Monitor the quality of work to ensure that all erection activities meet the required standards and specifications and also resolve if there are non-conformities.
∎ Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all team members by conducting safety inspections on a regular basis.
∎ Lead and manage a team of erection technicians and workers by providing training and guidance to ensure the team's efficiency.
∎ Oversee site logistics and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure a synchronized erection process.
∎ Maintain detailed records of the erection process and prepare reports including daily progression reports, safety documentation, and quality control reports.
