Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist departmental head in planning & monitoring the operations of Packing Section.
∎ Achieve the packing targets within the agreed budget.
∎ Ensure quality & quantity of cement bags based on two separate brand and also ensure the packing & delivery within the acceptable quality parameters in every packers, bulkers & barge loader.
∎ Ensure work efficiency of every packers, bulkers & barge loader.
∎ Ensure quality of empty bag & control the bag busting within target parameters.
∎ Maintain liaison with various functional teams during the shift to achieve production targets.
∎ Ensure the targeted efficiency parameters: Power consumption / Ton cement dispatched / Cost of cement packing / Ton minimize the demurrage.
∎ Assist management in developing long term & short term plans for growth of the cement business.
∎ Assist in developing & implementing SOP for the smooth operation of factory.
∎ Assist departmental head in imparting necessary training to improve the productivity & operational efficiency.
∎ Assist department lead to develop long term & short term plans for growth of the cement business.
∎ Ensure housekeeping & cleanliness of the plant along with machineries are properly maintained.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience minimum 04 years for Diploma and 02 years for B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
∎ Ability to manage people.
∎ Interpersonal skill.
∎ Ability to work under heavy dust and noise.
∎ Problem solving abilities.
∎ Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
∎ Job Location: Plant site at Sonargaon, Naryanganj. Transferable to other site of UCIL or any other business unit of MGI.
