Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible to mechanical maintenance activities as per Cement Industries standards to achieve the targeted availability of equipment's.
∎ Develop sub-ordinates by imparting training to Foreman, Fitter, Welder, Rigger, Pat-roller & mechanical Helper.
∎ Effective utilization of materials and manpower etc.
∎ Supervise Mechanical team and plan for ensure uninterrupted operation.
∎ Trouble shooting & fabrication of mechanical engineering and performs repairing work under close supervision.
∎ Involvement in mechanical modification/improvement activities in the assigned area.
∎ Reduce the cost on mechanical maintenance activities in the assigned area.
∎ Follow safety guide lines 'Zero Tolerance' for unsafe activity by creating awareness among the employees.
∎ Optimize sourcing of spare parts by maintaining balance between cost and quality.
∎ Ensure preventive maintenance of the mechanical system.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Leadership ability to manage people.
∎ Machine maintenance Skills and problem solving abilities
∎ Ability to work under heavy dust and noise.
∎ Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
∎ Job Location: Plant site at Sonargaon, Naryanganj. Transferable to other site of UCIL or any other business unit of MGI.
