Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer (Manager) with extensive knowledge and skills in managing electrical operations across our production plants. The role requires comprehensive expertise in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing various industrial machinery and systems to ensure continuous, efficient, and safe operations.
∎
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Maintenance and Management:
∎ o Oversee routine and preventive maintenance for electrical systems and machinery, including VAM machines, chillers, compressors, boilers, injection molding and blow molding machines, packaging machines, generators, and substations.
∎ o Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues to reduce downtime and enhance productivity.
∎ o Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards in all electrical systems.
∎ 2. Project Oversight:
∎ o Lead and manage electrical projects related to equipment installation, system upgrades, and process enhancements.
∎ o Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and budgetary requirements.
∎ 3. Safety and Standards Compliance:
∎ o Establish and enforce safety protocols for electrical operations.
∎ o Conduct routine safety audits and ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes and standards.
∎ 4. Team Leadership:
∎ o Supervise and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians, fostering skill development and ensuring high performance.
∎ o Provide hands-on training and workshops for staff on the safe and efficient use of electrical equipment.
∎ 5. Energy Optimization:
∎ o Develop strategies for improving energy efficiency in plant operations.
∎ o Monitor energy consumption and propose cost-effective solutions for energy management.
∎ 6. Technical Documentation:
∎ o Maintain comprehensive records of electrical system designs, modifications, and repair histories.
∎ o Create and update standard operating procedures and maintenance guidelines for electrical systems.
