∎ Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
∎ Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, practices, and safety regulations.
∎ Proficiency in electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
∎ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
∎ Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
∎ Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
∎ Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Electrical System Management: Design, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in the washing plant facility, including power distribution systems, control panels, motors, transformers, and other related components.
∎ Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identify and resolve electrical issues, malfunctions, and breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime. Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to detect equipment failures or deviations from operational standards.
∎ Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of electrical equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks and coordinate repairs with external vendors when required.
∎ Safety and Compliance: Maintain awareness of electrical safety codes, regulations, and standards. Ensure that all electrical systems and equipment in the plant are in compliance with applicable laws and safety guidelines.
∎ Documentation and Reports: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to electrical installations, repairs, maintenance activities, and upgrades. Prepare reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and recommendations for improvement.
∎ Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction related to electrical systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
∎ Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to plant staff on electrical systems, safety procedures, and best practices. Support operators and maintenance technicians in troubleshooting electrical issues and provide technical expertise when needed.
∎ Collaboration: Collaborate with other engineering and operational teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems and processes with overall plant operations. Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of all electrical equipment and systems in the plant, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and implementing improvements to optimize performance. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our washing plant and maintaining the highest standards of quality and productivity.
