Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil / Mechanical Engineering from renowned public or private University
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent to be responsible for:
∎ Responsible for efficient Management of wastage of men, material and equipment of the project/ factory.
∎ Responsible for process implementation of different activities & issues of the project/ factory.
∎ Responsible for process improvement – QC, production etc of the project/factory.
∎ Responsible for project control of MRT project.
∎ Responsible for sales of Specialized steel products.
∎ Look after various activities of new factory at Mirsarai, Chattogram.
∎ Managing project scope, change control and escalating issues where necessary.
∎ Support the sales & business development groups efforts to generate healthy & smooth business.
∎ Look after the implementation of process for International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
∎ Develop a well organized and effective team where you will play the pivotal role as TEAM LEADER to achieve the mission of the project/ factory.
∎ Should the company (MSBPL) decide for the expansion of new units or goes for venture anywhere in Bangladesh, in such case, you will be required to supervise the construction, establishment of machineries and finally to take it to the operational level. Besides, you may be required to visit the sites frequently.
∎ Work independently and ensure implementation of process with defects free solution for the company.
∎ Oversee cost estimating functions such as independent cost estimating, and contractor style cost estimates produced by an estimating team.
∎ Implement client cost control processes develop and monitor an effective system of program/project cost controls for the construction contract.
∎ Assists in coordinating engineering and construction activities in conjunction with overall project schedule requirements.
∎ Responsible for marketing of Steel Sheet Piles rental business.
∎ Responsible for marketing for the construction equipment and machinery rental business.
∎ Should have a good understanding of Steel Fabrication heavy machinery.
∎ Measure and control cost, schedule, and technical performance against task or project plans.
∎ Provides regular briefing to Management on project financials, schedule status, issues, and concerns.
∎ Any other assignment not detailed herein & felt conducive by Management as and when necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Conditions age may be relaxed for most deserving/qualified candidates.
∎ Experience in the relevant field will be preferred.
∎ Should be self motivated, dynamic leadership, negotiation, energetic & capable to work under pressure.
∎ Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Good communication skill and fluent in English.
∎ Knowledge on civil design and Bangladesh National Building Code
