Job Context:
∎ Duration of the contract : 31 December 2022
∎ Reporting to: Fleet Officer
∎ The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is the world`s largest humanitarian organization, with 192-member National Societies. As part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, our work is guided by seven fundamental principles, humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality. The assigned person will be base in Cox`s bazar at PMO office to support the fleet team under Administration Department.
∎ Job Purpose: The Driver under immediate supervision of the Fleet officer is responsible for driving the federation vehicles and transport goods and related tasks relating to IFRC/BDRCS programmes and operations.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implementation of Federation standard practices for vehicle operation.
∎ Implementation of preventative and curative maintenance of vehicles to maximise the fleet capacity.
∎ Maintain/check and clean vehicles daily.
∎ Keep proper tracking of vehicle servicing.
∎ Support the delegation offices to send document or any other material out of office.
∎ Always willing to agree to provide extra effort if any of the driver is absent or go for leave.
∎ Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
∎ Carry out any other duties that may arise from time to time.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience of working for a humanitarian/non-profit-making organization.
∎ Experience of working with the Red Cross / Red Crescent movement is preferable.
∎ Knowledge and Skills:
∎ Bangladeshi driving license with light vehicle for at least 5 years.
∎ Medium/Heavy vehicle licence will get preference.
∎ Excellent driving skills including 4X4 handling skills.
∎ Able to work independently and as part of the team.
∎ Exceptional level of patience and able to work long hours.
∎ Basic mechanical skills will add extra preference.
∎ Sensitive to cultural, religious, political and regional issues.
∎ Good mental and physical health.
∎ Ability to maintain accurate log records.
∎ Good time keeping.

Salary:
∎ Negotiable
