Job Context:
∎ Position & Grade : Driver (A2)
∎ Department : Logistics
∎ Starting date : As soon as possible
∎ Contract Type : Open Ended Contract
∎ The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting ICRC personal or goods in a safe & timely manner in accordance with ICRC rules and regulations and national traffic laws.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Drive in a safely manner, transport ICRC personnel and cargo according to Fleet and Logistics procedures, report any issues as per procedure.
∎ Ensure daily checks of mechanical conditions of vehicles (i.e: fuel level, tyre pressure, lights conditions, potential oil leakages, etc) before any trip.
∎ Participates in the loading/unloading of cargo and take responsibility of all the cargo transported by his vehicle until the hand over with the final beneficiary
∎ Informs the Car Dispatcher of all the technical problems and possible repairs in due time.
∎ Ensures that vehicles are clean and fuelled at all times.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years' relevant experience.
∎ Good written and spoken English skill.
∎ Good computer skills - particularly MS Office, Excel.
∎ Very good knowledge of the geographically assigned environment, sound understanding of local market.
∎ Personal Attributes and Skills Required:
∎ Valid driving license.
∎ Automobile maintenance experience (i.e: oil checks, changing tyres) will be an added advantage.
∎ Excellent communication skills (spoken and written);
∎ Excellent capacity to work independently and/or with minimal supervision, respecting the established framework;
∎ Capacity to define priorities, Administrative and organizational skills (coordination, sharing information, etc.).
∎ Capacity of adaptation, to work in team in a multicultural environment;
∎ Team spirit and capacity to integrate a multidisciplinary approach;
∎ Sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
