Educational Requirements:
∎ Master Mariner or Marine Chief Engineer.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 12 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Shipping, Shipping Industry Preferable, Shipping Operation
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement and maintain Company's S.M.S (Shipping Management System) effectively.
∎ Carry out both shipboard and shore based audits of the S.M.S.
∎ Investigate the reports on non-conformances with ship masters and superintendents.
∎ Maintain liaison with ship Masters on routine issues and ensure the proper understanding of S.M.S. by sea staff and office employees.
∎ Identify training requirements with the assistance of shore based personnel.
∎ Ensure the adequate resources and shore based support are applied as per requirement.
∎ Visit each ship at regular intervals
∎ Monitor ship operations by frequent inspection of log books, ship's safety meeting minutes
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age not exceeding 55 years.
∎ Candidate must have minimum 12 years of experiences from which 10 years of experiences at sea and 2 years of experiences as DPA.
∎ Physically fit.
∎ Interpersonal skill.
∎ Strategic leadership skills and proactive attitude.
