Job Context:
∎ DBL is a leading 100% export oriented Group of Companies. It has diversified industrial complexes equipped with numbers of Knit Composite Garment units, Fabrics and Yarn Dyeing, Finishing and All Over Printing, Spinning, Ceramics, Telecommunication, Pharmaceuticals etc.
∎ To lead the overall activities related to construction work as an Engineer In-Charge. This position requires solid knowledge and hands-on experience in strategic activities. The incumbent will be act as a change agent to accelerate construction and overall transformation. The Group is looking for experienced, energetic, dynamic and aspiring candidate who would join in our team and meaningfully contribute to the efforts to meet the deadline of construction.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Full time construction supervision of multiple high-rise buildings having multiple basements & fair-face concrete.
∎ Directly responsible for the quality of construction and timely completion of the projects.
∎ To forecast all construction challenges & risks (specially the ones during excavation and basement construction) and devise innovative approaches to overcome all possible challenges.
∎ To study the drawings and construction documents to prepare a complete construction plan.
∎ To select tools, equipment and materials and track inventory for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within scope & budget.
∎ To ensure construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
∎ To direct and guide the site engineers and other team members for all technical issues and site problems.
∎ Site control in all respects (budgetary control, progress control, administrative control, material Inflow and consumption etc.)
∎ To check and ensure the right quality of construction.
∎ Coordination with Head Office as and when required.
∎ To review the construction work progress according to schedule and take corrective measure to catch on delays, if any to deliver the project on time.
∎ To be acquainted with and be adhered to building and safety regulations.
∎ To check and authorize Material Purchase Requisition (MRR).
∎ To conduct periodic meeting with project personnel, architects and contractors for all technical issues and deliver the decision for smooth construction.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 18 (Eighteen) years proven working experience, out of which 10 years in reputed real estate company.
∎ Shall have proven working experience of constructing at least 2 nos. 3 Level basement.
∎ Shall be having adequate knowledge on ERSS (Earth Retaining Structural System) and Fair-Face Concrete.
∎ Shall be having demonstrated ability to ensure right quality of construction.
∎ Shall be capable enough to take technical decision and to give solution to all site problems.
∎ To be conversant with construction management software packages.
∎ Excellent communication in both written and speaking in English.
