Core Responsibilities

-          Monitor global fashion trends, street style, consumer behavior, and competitor offerings to predict upcoming styles, fabrics, and color palettes.

-          Design cohesive seasonal ranges across specific categories (e.g., knitwear, denim, outerwear) ensuring a balance of core basics and high-fashion statement pieces.

-          Create original prints or collaborate with textile designers to select prints, patterns, and graphics.

-          Produce complete and accurate technical specification packages (Tech Packs) that include BOM (Bill of Materials), graded measurement charts, sewing construction details, and trim placements.

-          Define material weights, compositions, and performance requirements for the sourcing team.

-          Collaborate with pattern makers and sample machinists to bring initial designs to life.

-          Maintain daily communication with manufacturers to clarify design intents, resolve production issues, and approve lab dips and strike-offs.

-          Meeting all calendar deadlines for sketch releases and tech pack handovers.
