Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. Engineer from any reputed University.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design the fire and safety system including protection, detection and suppression system.
∎ Capable to understanding design & Calculation according to the rules of BNBC, NFPA, Accord Alliance/RMG Sustainability Council (RSC) and other Fire safety Standard code.
∎ Preparing & implementing the fire and safety system drawing according to the rules of BNBC, NFPA, fire service rules, act & guidelines and others law of the Fire safety.
∎ Prepare BOQ for the quotation & proposal submission.
∎ Visit factories for remediation & verification and advise factory concern/consultant regarding remediation, system maintenance and sustainability.
∎ Advise & ensure the system modification (existing), new installation, maintenance, and operation of fire protection, suppression and fire detection systems.
∎ Make sure the different components & equipment of various types of firefighting & fire prevention system in accordance with the system requirements and ensure solving of regulatory authorities review problems.
∎ Develop training materials and conduct training sessions on fire protection and time to time observe fire safety demonstration at project.
∎ Able to assess fire strategy for all relevant buildings and all relevant parts of buildings in accordance with Fire Precautions (Workplace).
∎ To verify the fire protection, detection and alarm system installation, plan review, check the equipment, related calculation & design verify as per BNBC, NFPA or Any Fire safety Standard.
∎ Any other assignment related to health & safety as delegated by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) system in Construction of Infrastructure, Commercial, Industrial, Pharmaceuticals & Residential building.
∎ Ability to work under pressure, Adaptability, and Computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Excellent communication skill, excellent leadership skills, Team building skill.
∎ Excellent communication and client management skill.
∎ Excellent knowledge about life safety code.
∎ Must have excellent time management skill.
∎ Excellent Knowledge of Accord Alliance, NFPA, BNBC standards.
∎ Certificates in Fire protection & detection system shall be an added advantage.
∎ Excellent organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines.
∎ Excellent technical writing skills including standards documentation and record keeping.
∎ Able to face the technical audit.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable based on experience and qualification.
