Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for quality assurance and ensure proper implementation of quality check of Steel
∎ Ensure quality of steel products as per QAP (Quality Assurance Plan), monitor ongoing welding activities as per WPS (Welding Procedure Specification) and take corrective action if necessary
∎ Interact with production team & Development team to maintain product supply effectively & help introducing new products
∎ Monitor overall construction structure and piping inspection program (e.g. Material verification, fit-up, final visual inspection) in fabrication and erection stage
∎ Check pre- welding distortion control like tackling, bridging, jigs, line up clamp etc. and check Pre-Heat values like heating method, location, and control methods.
∎ Formulate & Implement objectives, policies, procedures & systems related to quality control
∎ Conduct material receiving inspection and check dimension accuracy, material discrepancy and non-conformity
∎ Set Quality Control Compliance objectives to achieve the goals
∎ Supervise Technical Staffs to ensure the quality of end products as per standards
∎ Prepare & submit the explanatory documents/reports to the concern as per requirement on regular basis
Additional Requirements:
∎ AWS/CSWIP certified candidates are highly encouraged to apply
∎ Interpersonal and leadership skill
∎ Good Communication skill
∎ Sound Knowledge on Microsoft office, Excel, PowerPoint.
∎ Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
∎ Worked with Foreign Company will be preferable
