Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)
∎ Supply Chain Management certifications (CSCM, CSCE) will be considered as an added qualification.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Inventory management, Material Management, Raw material planning
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist with production planning and scheduling delivery of raw materials based on sales and demand forecasts.
∎ Maintain inventory levels to ensure deliveries occur within production timelines.
∎ Maintain and ensures the accuracy of the perpetual inventory system.
∎ Work with the product management, procurement, and finance team to schedule the delivery of materials/ supplies/ equipment.
∎ Oversee delivery (finished goods) and receiving (raw materials) functions to ensure production lines are operated with 100% loading within the stipulated timeframe.
∎ Manage and monitors the budget for materials and supplies, including forecasting expenses (collaboration with the Product Development & Costing Team), monitoring spending, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
∎ Ensure that all raw materials meet the required quality standards to avoid production defects and minimize scrap.
∎ Perform write-offs on damaged or obsolete inventory to reflect the accurate value of inventory.
∎ Establish procedures for conducting and valuing year-end physical inventory.
∎ Manage a team of Material Management and logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
∎ Perform other related duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Solid understanding of the footwear raw materials, and material management principles for the footwear industry and familiarity with relevant compliance and regulations related to material management.
∎ Knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes.
∎ Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material management systems.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Strong organizational and time management skills.
