Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc Engineering in Mechanical/ Industrial Production (IP)/ Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE).
∎ Candidates having MBA will be given preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handling logistics including vehicle & vessel fleet Operation, process design, shipment planning and asset management.
∎ Strategically planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
∎ Optimizing Operational & maintenance cost.
∎ Negotiating and Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
∎ Keeping track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
∎ Meeting cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
∎ Managing in house logistics handling like dump truck, forklift, pay loaders etc. with proper guideline.
∎ Analyzing the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
∎ Preparing and planning vehicle and vessel maintenance schedule.
∎ Tracking and updating Legal documents for vehicle & vessel management.
∎ Managing direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance or logistics quality management.
∎ Monitoring & handling new improvement project under logistics operation.
∎ Maintaining metrics and analyzing data to assess performance and implement improvements.
∎ Resolving any arising problems or complaints for stakeholders.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge of ERP Transport module other relevant software will be an added advantage.
∎ Knowledge on Govt. laws, regulations and other compliance issues.
∎ Ability to create policies and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for logistics activities.
∎ Strong problem solving and analytical capability with team building quality.
∎ Fluency in written and spoken English.
∎ Advanced knowledge on MS Excel operation
