Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collect sales order from marketing team and prepare delivery plan in software as per sales order.
∎ Select the specific transportation mode like trucks or covered van, receive price quotations from vendors and hire the best vendor for product delivery.
∎ Collaborating with suppliers and negotiate contracts, ensuring timely delivery of cement at competitive prices as per standard.
∎ Ensure efficient scheduling of delivery for more than 100 car allocation at a time, routing, and tracking of transports to meet delivery deadlines with minimum costs.
∎ Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and third-party service providers to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues when arise.
∎ Check & verify rental bill from 3rd party vendors and submit to accounts department for payment.
∎ Maintain liaison with factory delivery team & Sales team to ensure smooth delivery of cement.
