Responsibilities & Context:
The Delivery Boy is responsible for timely and safe delivery of goods, parcels, or food to customers using a motorcycle/bike. This role requires good knowledge of local routes, strong time management skills, and the ability to communicate politely with customers. The job also involves handling cash payments, maintaining delivery records, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Prior bike riding experience is essential to perform deliveries efficiently and safely.
Job Responsibilities:
Deliver food, documents, parcels, or products to customers on time using a motorcycle/bike
Ensure safe riding by following traffic rules and company policies
Collect cash or digital payments and submit them accurately
Verify delivery items before leaving the pickup point
Maintain delivery records and report completed deliveries
Communicate professionally with customers and supervisors
Handle products carefully to avoid damage
Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the bike
Plan routes to ensure fast and efficient delivery
Report any delivery issues, delays, or customer complaints
