Job Responsibilities:
∎ Issue PO, collect & prepared PFI, LC opening and follow with Bank, Insurance & Customs
∎ Ensure that pre-alerts are sent by the shippers/ freight forwarders in advance to the customs broker
∎ Ensure broker is validating documents prior to shipping & ensure that customs broker is communicating with the relevant internal party for incomplete documents or discrepancies & escalate as needed in case documents are not amended by the shipper within 24 hours.
∎ Ensure that customs broker prepares the declaration based on the documents provided.
∎ Manage the exceptions of customs operations & escalate to business as needed.
∎ Liaise with the businesses customs leader to ensure that parts are classified and identified; this requires to run a proactive operating rhythms with the business customs leader to support in obtaining open POs of the orders planned to be shipped, liaise with authorized classifier to assign an HTS & support management in its completion of the same prior to shipping.
∎ Support management in its operating rhythms calls with the customs broker, BPO (STTAS) & the business to ensure live shipments are cleared on time and pending actions are completed.
∎ Advise and support to management towards its ensuring that valid business permits, licenses, legal governance documents and other certificates needed to import/export are in place for all businesses by assisting in its coordination with the respective business & customs broker.
∎ Consulting support to business leaders in their management of the brokers to prioritize the shipments based on business priority
∎ Advise and support business leaders in their escalations and issue resolution related to customs operations & compliance
∎ Advise and support business leaders in their follow up with action owners on any pending shipment and their driving it to completion, enabling broker to complete the customs clearance compliantly.
∎ Assist management in its monitoring of KPIs and advise on actions required to meet its set entitlements/ targets.
∎ Ongoing support to management in its updating of Smartsheet/ tools with the live information of the shipments and in its coordination with the customs broker to feed the data into the tool as real-time.
∎ Advise and support business and/or customs leader on the setting of KPIs and its ongoing management of the same
∎ Update reports manually or on tools as available.
∎ Willingness to Visit, customs house, BPDB, CCIE, NBR, relevant ministry, different project site

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply

Salary: Tk. 45000 - 50000 (Monthly)
