∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing, Master of Commerce (MCom), Master of Business Studies (MBS)
∎ Post Graduation degree in Business Administration (major in Supply Chain Management/Management/Marketing etc.)/Masters in Business Studies is required
∎ PGD in Supply Chain Management will get preference
∎ Relevant experiences in procurement is must

∎ Age 28 to 40 years

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare and processing requisitions and purchase orders for different departments
∎ Market surveying, collecting and analyzing price quotations
∎ Preparing and submitting comparative statement for obtaining approval from the Management
∎ Purchasing required kinds of goods, materials, equipment etc. with the help of procurement committee
∎ Ensuring purchases are made on timely manner complying with the policy & practices and in cost-effective manners
∎ Maintaining relevant documents of procurements (meeting minutes, quotations, supporting documents of purchase, bill/voucher etc.)
∎ Sourcing and selecting quality vendors for procurements with best available price, preparing and updating vendor list (database of vendors) time to time
∎ Maintaining good relationships with vendors and ensure that the flow of purchase remain unhampered
∎ Preparing budget request as per need by maintaining policy and settling bill/voucher within 25th day of each month
∎ Handover all the purchased product to store section and ensuring the payment of vendors with the help of Accounts section
∎ Preparing the tender documents based on tender requirements by analyzing the market cost/scope and requirements
∎ Monitoring the tender submission process for formatting, completeness, consistency, accuracy and compliance & managing the bid qualification process for new opportunities
∎ Maintaining all documents and files of procurement and facing external and internal audit
∎ Taking initiative to sell agricultural product (quotation collection, market survey, seller collection etc.) and other damaged or scrub product of SPP
∎ Preparing monthly report of purchases and other activities within 1st week of next month
∎ Any other duties as per instruction of the supervisor
∎ Co-supporting to Tuesday cleaning program of Sreepur project office
∎ Performing the responsibilities of Purchase Committee as a member
∎ Conducting different organizational program as per instruction of the higher management
∎ Supporting Dhaka office and Dinajpur Project Office purchase
∎ Supervising the activities of Procurement Assistant
∎ Any other duties as per instruction of the supervisor

∎ Shishu Polli Plus (a project of The Sreepur Village, Bangladesh) is a humanitarian organization which is located in Sreepur of Gazipur District. We provide support of shelter, education, rehabilitation & livelihood training to the destitute mothers and children which help them to re-settle in their community with better financial and interpersonal skills. ∎ Shishu Polli Plus (a project of The Sreepur Village, Bangladesh) is an International NGO in Bangladesh, serves as a refuge and safe haven for single mothers and their children who have been displaced from their homes. Shishu Polli Plus was established in 1989 and is located 50km north of Dhaka in rural Bangladesh. Approximately 500 mothers and children live in the village and follow an agreed rehabilitation programme for up to three years. As well as receiving literacy and vocational training and other educational opportunities, the mothers work for SPP and earn a small allowance. Each month they also receive money in a saving account that is given to them, as a capital sum, when they return to their communities.
