∎ Job Location: BRAC University

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Continuously monitor and analyze data from the BMS for HVAC systems, fire alarm system, lighting controls, electrical power management, WTP, STP, solar, substation, generator, pump, access control and other connected systems appropriately.
∎ Perform periodic inspections of the control room equipment, BMS connected equipment to identify any malfunction or abnormality. Report and coordinate repair & maintenance work as necessary to ensure proper functioning of the systems.
∎ Maintain and keep the records of emergency calls, system performance, alarm incidents and maintenance activities with the information of breakdown/ disruption/ restoration time in the logbook and registers during the shift. Prepare incident reports for all activities
∎ Maintain clear and efficient communication with the fire safety personnel, providing them with essential details and updates as needed during any incident.
∎ Actively participate in fire training and act as a point of contact during emergency situation and provide necessary information to facility personnel. Always practice and stay updated on emergency response procedure.
∎ Promptly respond to emergency calls related to any incidents, alarms, alerts, or any anomalies reported by the BMS and gather & analyze information to determine the appropriate response.
∎ Strictly maintain control room norms, work practices, protocols, and privacy of the resultant output footage. Perform recording, visual inspection, or personnel tracking for operational purposes only.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience with camera technologies (Dome, Bullet, C-Mount, Day/Night, etc.)
∎ Experiences with different NVR systems (Hikvision, Dahua, Samsung, Uniview, etc.)
∎ Experience of network surveillance systems and troubleshooting techniques, Camera control interfaces and equipment.
∎ Experienced in LAN, WAN, and network connectivity equipment.
∎ Experience in emergency dispatching, fire control room operations, or related fields.
∎ Knowledge of fire detection, protection, and control systems with emergency response procedures.
∎ Familiarity with radio communication, computer-aided dispatch systems, fire suppression systems, etc.
∎ Experience in operating and maintaining Building Management Systems or similar control systems is desirable.
∎ Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and building automation system.
∎ Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
∎ Ability to work collaboratively across departments and service areas
