Job Context:
∎ Internship Duration: 8 - 9 Months.
∎ After successful completion of Internship Period and Excellent Job Performance, Interns will be given priority, if there is any relevant vacancy under Communication and Public Engagement Department.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure graphics design of communications products across the Communications including internal stakeholders at national and field office.
∎ Undertake monthly photography assignments across World Vision working areas to build a rick repository of thematic photos in accordance with all World Vision Bangladesh (WVB) policies and for further use in Annual and/or regular publications.
∎ Develop, capture and edit short thematic video clips in consultation with the Communications Manager and Technical Leads.
∎ Capture and document impact stories, ideas and share with the communications team in accordance with yearly plan and targets.
∎ Ensure that up to date information and products on Communications visibility and branding are shared on the World Vision Intranet.
∎ Work closely with the Communications and Public Engagement Manager to provide operational, editorial, strategic and creative support to manage overall publication works.
∎ Ensure quality desktop publication, design and photography as regular and day-to-day job, assigned by the Communications and Public Engagement Manager and as required for the Team.
∎ Coordinate with supply chain team on the printing process, maintain an up to date stock take of communications products and ensure a steady supply.
∎ Support the stakeholders such as - business development, programme, operations and project staffs in the national office and other WVB Office across the country as required.
∎ Ensure client-oriented approach within World Vision and with field units by providing effective and timely professional service model for the Communications Team as a whole.
∎ Any other duties as assigned to the Communications by the Supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 29 years
∎ Excellent Multimedia skills including software (Microsoft Office Suite, Bangla typing, adobe, illustrator, video editing software).
∎ Competent English writing skills, competent in writing compelling stories, news report and press releases for fundraising, and strengthen advocacy efforts.
∎ Strong photography and video documentation skills including capturing, editing etc.
∎ Strong interpersonal, networking and organizational skills.
∎ Good presentation and communication skills.
∎ Experience with online promotion (Intranet site) development and media interest.
∎ Competency in photography and videography.
∎ Knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator is an advantage.
∎ Travel must be required as per need and necessity.
∎ Work in a sound environment, and be able to adjust to a changed environment or situation where this person may find the environment busy, noisy.
