Educational Requirements:
∎ Post-graduate qualification in nutrition, public health , those with degree in nutrition with experience in CMAM will be considered.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in planning of Community Outreach activities and ensure activities are met in timely manner.
∎ Ensure daily comprehensive communication with key national nutrition sites staff in project locations for updates, and resource needs and support .
∎ Ensure the implementation of the Community Outreach activities is conformed to national and international standards and International guidelines.
∎ Work in close collaboration with OTP & IYCF Tdh team (such as promoting excellent communication and referral between IYCF counselor, CMAM and other nutrition partners) together.
∎ Provide support, onjob mentorship and supervision on Community Outreach activities to those staff and staff implementing the activities in the camps.
∎ Ensures that all CNVs are recruited according to the internal Tdh guidelines especially with respect to Child safeguarding policy.
∎ Support Community Nutrition Volunteers Officers in guiding CNV on the field.
∎ Ensure quality services provided to beneficiaries on the field, through CNV officers (support Tdh staff to promote consistent good practices)
∎ Monitor and evaluate Community Outreach activities, including supervision of quality of at home visit, referral, delivering of key messages to beneficiaries, follow-up, screening Ensure the implementation process of the tracking system for referrals from the community to the OTP, TSFP or other facility and liaise with the CNV supervisor for the activities related to referraf for every camps (e.g. follow up special cases, follow up transfer out to SC, TSFP etc).
∎ Ensure appropriate Community Outreach tools are available and properly utilized by CNVs officers and CNVs, documents achievements and regular records and reports (necessary tools and information on the referral system and provided services etc.) and properly understand the activities to be implemented in the framework of the project.
∎ Organize regular (daily,weekly,monthly) meetings with CNVs officers and CNVs
∎ Follow-up the performance indicators defined, reports on progress to his/her immediate supervisor (Community Outreach coordinator), indicates difficulties encountered in project implementation, and proposes improvements or reorganization as needs basis. Communicating and implementing policy and practice changes as outlined in agreed guidelines.
∎ Document the important case studies and lessons learnt.
∎ Supervise Community Nutrition Volunteers Officers and ensure the timely implementation of their activities.
∎ Coordinate the work of all Community Nutrition Volunteers Officers: work plans, progress toward targets, and frequency of submitting collected data.
∎ Ensure coordination with Tdh Staff and stakeholders concerning community intervention activities. Support Community Nutrition Volunteers Officers in improving their performance and providing regular feedback on their progress.
∎ Routine field visits to monitor Community Nutrition Volunteers Officers activities. Continuously collect feedback from Community Nutrition Volunteers Officers and ensure the communication to the Community Outreach coordinator.
∎ Participate in the identification of training gap and facilitate training under the project; ensure availability of teaching aid and IEC materials
∎ Training of community volunteers on key messages: hygiene and sanitation practices, malnutrition awareness.
∎ Define the needs in materials and tools required to conduct trainings, health/nutrition campaigns and outreach activities.
∎ Organize and coordinate training sessions: venue, attendees, and support materials. Liaise with the community outreach coordinator on solving Community Outreach management, and volunteers related issues.
∎ Collect and report information on identified cases from the field and reported through Community Nutrition Volunteers Officers.
∎ Review the number of assessed individuals from CNVs collected by the Community Nutrition Volunteers Officers to see the progress towards assigned target.
∎ Prepare daily, weekly and monthly statistical and narrative report, provide technical support Make sure all Community Outreach records are regularly filled and submitted (awareness sessions, database of counselled cases, etc.)
∎ Responsible of compile and report to the direct superior data on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarter and annual basis or upon request.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Nursing or a closely related field with medical/paramedical background,
∎ Minimum 2 years of field experience, including significant experience in CMAM & IYCF programs.
∎ Experience of community-based nutrition projects
∎ Work experience with other NGO's would be an asset
∎ At least one or two year of experience in the implementation of Nutrition projects, preferably in humanitarian contexts.

∎ Report serious cases of abuse on children that she/he would be aware of in Tdh's intervention locations. Strict confidentiality must be respected.

Salary: Tk. 55400 (Monthly)
