Civil Engineering, Cost and budget, Supervision
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Architecture Firm
∎ Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Job Context:
∎ Work Location: Project sites, but you will have a dedicated workspace at our office.
∎ Office hours: 8 a.m to 8 p.m (Break time: maximum 2 hrs/day).
∎ Weekly holiday will be one day per week (during on-going construction, it will be declared as per site conditions)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The job responsibilities are as follows (but not limited to): Managing construction projects.
∎ Overseeing construction work
∎ Undertaking surveys and setting out sites
∎ Checking technical designs and drawings for accuracy and ensuring that they are followed correctly.
∎ Supervising contracted staff
∎ Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets, and/or timescales.
∎ Liaising with clients, subcontractors, local authority employees, architects, and other professionals, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager.
∎ Providing technical advice and solving problems on site.
∎ Preparing site reports and logging progress.
∎ Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.

∎ Age 24 to 50 years
∎ Technical Skills:
∎ Strong understanding of civil engineering principles
∎ Proficiency in construction methods and materials
∎ Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
∎ Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations
∎ Proficiency in construction management software
∎ Understanding of surveying techniques
∎ Non-Technical Skills:
∎ Problem-solving skills.

∎ Safety awareness: Safety is paramount on construction sites. Supervisors must have a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures and enforce them diligently to prevent accidents and injuries.
∎ Conflict resolution skills: Conflicts can arise on construction projects. Supervisors need to be able to resolve disputes fairly and effectively to maintain a harmonious working environment.
∎ Negotiation skills: Negotiating contracts with vendors and subcontractors, as well as resolving disputes with project stakeholders, requires strong negotiation skills.
