Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering from a reputed Government approved University or Institution.
∎ BUET/KUET/RUET/CUET/DUET Graduates will be given preferences.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage project site to monitor construction progress according to design as well as management decisions.
∎ Supervise and monitor regular activities of construction site, estimation of budget, prepare and verify bill, report regular progress of work to superior.
∎ Estimate materials as per requirement.
∎ Archiving and maintaining site documents.
∎ Checking of work volume and bills submitted by different contractors.
∎ Follow-up all civil works and safety issues.
∎ Adaptable and able to work under pressure independently.
∎ Check site materials quality and volume.
∎ Controlling wastage of materials during execution of work.
∎ Project construction schedule, supervision and activity management.
∎ Bill checking as per completed work ad per given design & quality.
∎ Prepared Electrical BOQ in order to Submission of Tender.
∎ Prepared Electrical Performance Qualification document for bid submission.
∎ Site visit to monitor the ongoing installation work.
∎ Review of working drawings and preparation of as build drawings.
∎ Check all the technical submitted documents.
∎ Preparing and finalize BOQ of materials.
∎ Carry out the supervision of day by day activities of electrical and electro-mechanical works at site.
∎ Carry out the coordination between subcontractor, Consultant and Projects Manager.
∎ Carry out the site meeting between subcontractor, Consultant and Projects Manager.
∎ Coordination and review the variations of work.
∎ Coordination and review the testing and commissioning procedures.
∎ Awareness of all code of practices such as BNBC, NEC, IEC and ensure compliance to these codes and local authority requirements.
∎ As Built drawing prepared for Facilities Management System (FMS) department.
∎ Tender analysis work as per projects basis.
∎ Materials Recovery Facilities (MRF) checking.
∎ Must be understanding drawing and design.
∎ Must have experience of industrial / power plant related mechanical works.
∎ Must have experience in power plant pipe laying (HDPE, SDR, MS, RCC), welding in underground activity.
∎ Must have maintenance experience in mechanical works.
∎ Good knowledge of HSE, industrial safety, lifting & confined space etc.
∎ Prepare own planning works.
∎ Estimating materials, labor or construction cost for budget preparation.
∎ Working with variety of technician.
∎ Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, construction, maintenance, and documentation support or testing activities.
∎ Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering project and studies.
∎ Preparing specifications for purchases of mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment and materials.
∎ Manage client and following the Management command.
∎ Any other activities as and when required by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ Building Construction, Civil Construction, Construction cost estimation, Analytical ability, BOQ, Drawing and design, Estimate, Tendering, Mechanical Technician etc.
∎ ABC license holder Electrical Engineer will highly preferred.
∎ IEB Membership Certificate.
∎ Skills Required of Civil Engineer: Auto CAD, SOLIDWORKS, Revit, Sketch Up, Micro Station, Civil 3D, Act CAD, CSI ETAB, Arc GIS, Midas Civil, STAAD, CIS SAP, CSI SAFE and STAAD Pro etc.
∎ Skills Required of Electrical Engineer: Auto CAD, MATLAB, ETAP, Power World Simulator, PSCAD, PSS/E etc.
∎ Skilled Required of Mechanical Engineer: Autodesk Mold flow, AutoCAD, Pro/Engineer, SolidWorks etc.
∎ Experience in 2d & 3d drawing.
∎ Should have sound knowledge in MS Office Suite, MS Project, Internet surfing, E-mail, etc.
∎ Minimum 2-5 years practical experience in any mega project in Bangladesh, reputed real estate & construction project / Firm / Organization.
∎ Knowledge using construction equipment and safety rules.
∎ Strong drawing understanding skills.
∎ Excellent Communications skills, presentation skills & interpersonal skill (written and oral) in both English.
∎ Capable to work under pressure and the willingness to work in any situations.
∎ Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control etc.
∎ Mechanical Engineer Candidate must have experience in the Power Plant, Water Treatment Plant work.
∎ Mechanical Engineer must have clear knowledge of variables in international standards of EME.
∎ Proficient in operating all kinds of Office software and drawing software.
∎ Proficient in current construction organization design, construction specification, and Acceptance specification.
