∎ Proficiency in using category management software and MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
∎ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
∎ Proven experience as a category manager or in a similar role within the retail or consumer goods industry.

∎ Category Strategy & Development: Create and implement long-term strategies to optimize category performance. Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
∎ Product Management & Sourcing: Oversee product selection, sourcing, and new product introductions. Negotiate competitive pricing and terms with suppliers.
∎ Sales & Marketing: Collaborate with marketing to design tailored strategies for product promotion and pricing. Drive initiatives to increase visibility and sales.
∎ Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Ensure inventory levels meet demand without overstocking or stockouts. Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure timely product availability.
∎ Market Research: Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
∎ Pricing and Promotions: Set competitive pricing strategies and collaborate with marketing teams to execute effective promotions.
∎ Team Leadership: Lead and mentor category teams to achieve targets. Collaborate with other departments to execute strategies effectively.
∎ Reporting & Analysis: Analyze sales data and KPIs to drive performance improvements. Prepare reports and present insights to senior management.
