• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

We are looking for a Restaurant Cashier to cover payment handling duties for our dining establishment. In this position, you will run credit and debit cards, make change for cash payments, and provide general customer service. You will also greet customers as they come in and resolve any complaints. We are willing to work with anyone who has the right attitude and work ethic for the job.

Responsibilities:    

• Process cash, credit card, and other forms of payment accurately·      

• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.·      

• Create change for those paying with cash.·      

• Resolve any payment discrepancies or customer inquiries.

• Provide friendly and efficient service to enhance the guest experience.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.

• Close the register at the end of the day and hand over to the accountant all the cash and other things related to accounts.
