Job Context:
∎ The Position in brief: We provide an opening for a Business Analyst - Renewable Energy. This position will concentrate on ground mounted, floating solar , commercial rooftop solar projects, solar irrigation etc. You will work closely with our global team, key customers and partners and with local certification and industry bodies. The individual must be interested and able to work in a multi-national and cultural environment to draw on resources in other locations. In addition to providing a climate for professional growth, Solar EPC offers a competitive salary package.

∎ Should be available and accustomed to travel extensively
∎ Must be able to work as per the requirement of the projects.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for all aspects of the sales process including lead generation, site evaluations, assistance with financing, development of cash flow analysis, managing customers objections and concerns and providing contracts
∎ Strategic analysis to identify qualified customers for commercial solar systems by understanding the relevant market, financing available, and other considerations.
∎ Prospecting viable customers through marketing outreach, calling campaigns, conference attendance, in-person meetings, and other creative outreach ideas.
∎ Evaluate client's renewable energy goals and provide a comprehensive solution, providing our clients with a fantastic energy transition experience
∎ Work with Estimating/Engineering team, the Finance & Development department, and Sales Manager to develop renewable energy projects
∎ Financial business modelling of potential opportunities
∎ Educating potential customers on solar as a product and arranging for initial customer meetings and proposal presentations
∎ Working closely with other members of the team to stay current on solar market trends, particularly financing expectations and project costs, that influence and guide viable solar prospects
∎ Analysis of customer's current and projected electrical usage and potential financial return on investment
Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong knowledge of the solar industry
∎ Highly organized & can multi-task and set priorities
∎ Ability in relationship building and business development, financing, ROI, depreciation and incentives for renewable energy investments
∎ Strong involvement in the community and competence with Computer including Excel, Word, email and blog - web-based applications
∎ Ability to grasp the client's goals and budget
∎ Sound Knowledge of Electrical design and diagrams for LT and HT equipment.
∎ Analytical thinking and ability to handle the situations independently.
∎ High social and intercultural competence
∎ Should speak and write English fluently.
∎ Excellent report writing and team work skills
∎ Effectively coordinate and communicate with others (customers and co-workers)
∎ Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, community environment
∎ High Standards - expects personal performance to be nothing short of the best
∎ Flexibility - adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
∎ Proactivity - acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the process and procedures
∎ Experience not mandatory. Young freshers are encouraged to apply. 1 to 2 years' experience in the power sector will be added advantage.
