Educational Requirements:
∎ BCS/ B. Sc in Computer Science and/or Engineering

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 6 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Operate System/SAN/Backup Administration as per assigned portfolio of applications and services platform and monitoring daily to ensure service is running optimal within its capacity limit.
∎ Ensure the timely availability of all processed Call Data Record (CDR) at Big Data Platform from Charging and billing team.
∎ Prepare and provide relevant analytics for existing and new source integration as per stakeholder requirements
∎ Coordinates with others IT team and others departments in order to understand and meet their requirements on time
∎ Define/decide IT Platform road-map based on stakeholders need, technology, trend and business requirements
∎ Translate strategic goals to actionable task and operational plans necessary for implementation of the same through proper and timely planning
∎ Define short-term tactical plans to make certain network capacity and plans meet existing and future requirements.
∎ Work on capacity planning upgrades and optimize existing Servers, Storage and Backup of DCs on internal as well as external segments
∎ Ensure 99.99% service uptime

Additional Requirements:
∎ 5-7 years of total experience with at least 4-5 years of hands-on programming experience.
∎ Required Capabilities- Advanced knowledge on Java and Java application security and Python.
∎ Sound familiarity with Big Data ecosystem (like HDFS, Kafka and Spark)
∎ Hands on knowledge of Maintaining application, bug detection, bug fixing, scalability of application Hands on knowledge on process and memory optimizations, automation.
∎ Sound knowledge on Linux shell and common commands
∎ In-depth knowledge of IT operations handling, policies, and process implementation capabilities.
∎ Experience on Service Migration.
∎ Sound knowledge of Information Security and IT Audit processes.
∎ Thorough knowledge in Information Security concepts and technologies.
∎ Thorough knowledge in microservices platform with hands on experience.
∎ Preferred Industry/Company- Telecommunication
