∎ B.Sc in Engineering (Major in Mechanical/ Marine)
∎ Diploma Engineer (Major in Marine/ Mechanical) having at least 3 years of relevant experience can also apply
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Shipyard
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise a team for ship engine repair and maintenance
∎ Ensure the performance of engine injectors and gearbox overhauling
∎ Assure the performance of nozzle test for main engine
∎ Ensure the proper replacement of defective parts and refit back to the engine
∎ Supervise engineers in the maintenance of all engine machineries such as overhauling of main engine, auxiliary engine, purifier and pumps
∎ Identify and take necessary precautions on fire and safety hazards and report according to site policy and procedures
∎ Look after the proper utilization of fuel, lube oil, spare parts etc
∎ Maintain spare parts inventory report with projection as updates & send to concerned authority
∎ Provide quick feedback regarding all troubleshooting such as maintenance problem of the engine, gear, generator set & pump at indoor and outdoor
∎ Keep update of all mechanical reports and submit thereby as required
Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidates should have overall mechanical maintenance experience in dockyard equipment & machinery
∎ Experience in servicing of Cargo Pump, fuel pump & other pumps and major & minor engine and Gearbox Overhauling is essential to perform in this role
∎ Candidates should have practical experience on nozzle test of the main engine
∎ Candidates shall have troubleshooting capacity of marine engine and its related parts
∎ Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Auto Cad
∎ Ship Engine
