Responsibilities & Context:

As a Barista at [Nassa Group], you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional coffee experience to our customers. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages, as well as maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your friendly and customer-focused approach will contribute to the warm and welcoming atmosphere that sets our coffee house apart.

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.

• Take and prepare customer orders with attention to detail and consistency.      

• Educate customers about our coffee offerings and assist with their selections.       

• Brew coffee using various methods (espresso machine, pour-over, French press, etc.)

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, and specialty drinks.

• Ensure beverages are prepared to company standards regarding taste, presentation, and temperature.

• Keep the coffee preparation area, equipment, and serving areas clean and sanitized.

• Monitor and restock coffee supplies, condiments, and other items as needed.

• Follow proper food safety and hygiene standards.

• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations.

• Communicate effectively with team members and management.

• Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

• Recommend additional items, such as pastries or seasonal specials, to enhance the customer experience.

• Participate in promotions and upselling initiatives to drive sales.
