Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: AutoCAD
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Auto CAD 2D 3D, Auto CAD Designing, AutoCAD
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Analysis: Review the tender documents, including project specifications, drawings, and scope of work, to gain a thorough understanding of the project requirements.
∎ Technical Design: Utilize AutoCAD software to develop detailed technical designs and drawings that align with the project specifications. This may include architectural, structural, electrical, or mechanical drawings, depending on the nature of the project.
∎ Quantity Takeoff: Extract quantities of materials and resources required for the project from the technical drawings using AutoCAD. Collaborate with the Quantity Survey Engineers to ensure accurate measurement and estimation of quantities.
∎ Design Optimization: Evaluate and optimize the design to improve functionality, cost-effectiveness, and constructability while complying with the project requirements. This may involve making adjustments to the drawings based on feedback from the project team.
∎ Technical Write-up: Prepare technical narratives or descriptions that explain the design approach, methodologies, and innovative solutions proposed by your company. Clearly communicate the technical advantages and benefits of your bid in relation to the project requirements.
∎ Drawing Compilation: Compile all the relevant technical drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, into a cohesive and organized package. Ensure that the drawings are accurately labeled, referenced, and meet the required standards.
∎ Coordination with Other Disciplines: Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (such as civil, electrical, or mechanical engineers) within company to integrate their designs and inputs into the overall bid package. Ensure coordination and coherence among the various technical disciplines involved.
∎ Compliance with Standards and Regulations: Ensure that the technical drawings and designs comply with applicable industry standards, codes, regulations, and client specifications. Incorporate any necessary revisions or modifications to meet these requirements.
∎ Cost Estimation Support: Collaborate with the Quantity Survey Engineers to provide technical inputs and assistance in estimating the costs associated with the technical aspects of the project. This may involve identifying materials, equipment, and labor requirements based on the drawings and specifications.
∎ Document Management: Maintain an organized record of all technical documents, drawings, and revisions associated with the bid. Ensure that the documents are easily accessible and properly labeled for efficient retrieval during the bidding process.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following project(s) - Matarbari Port Access Road, Dhaka Metro Rail Line 6, Hazrat Shahjalal Airport Extension Project, and Kornofhuli Tunnel Project.
∎ Compulsory Requirements - Experience in AutoCAD design, drawing in RCC and Steel Building (Fabrication, Joint, Erection Drawing).
Salary: Tk. 40000 - 60000 (Monthly)

∎ Salary Review: Yearly
