Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Marine engineering/ Mechanical Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collect all the repair information from the vessel and execute the repair locally and overseas as require.
∎ Maintain liaise with the ship specific Person In charge (PIC) on the scope of works, mobilization of manpower and materials as requested from the vessel.
∎ Discuss and closely monitor physically on board the vessel for executing the repair works and obtaining the management approval in this regard.
∎ Check and keep the records for the vessel’s spare and stores inventory status physically onboard.
∎ Physically attend the vessel on every call at Chittagong and accompany with class and flag surveyor as require.
∎ Maintain the all-vessel’s manual /docs’ record.
∎ Maintain the local and overseas accounts related documents to vessel repair/spare
Additional Requirements:
∎ Should have sound knowledge on ship’s repair job
∎ Should have experienced in Marine Workshop/Dry Dock/Ship Repair
∎ Good command on writing and speaking in English
∎ Should have good command in MS-Word, Excel, E-mail correspondences
∎ Sound interpersonal skills
∎ Should have work cross-functional working skill
