Job Context:
∎ Connell is a Specialty Chemicals and Ingredients Distribution Company based out of San Francisco, CA, USA. We are looking for a smart, committed, proactive team player to fill out the following position for overall supply chain activities
∎ Department: Supply Chain Department
∎ Report to: Country Manager
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Looking after the entire supply chain and logistic activities including processing of raw material Imports, Clearance & Warehousing
∎ Coordination with suppliers and internal sales team to ensure on-time material availability through a proper forecasting
∎ Ability to lead 3/5 people's team by developing good synergy among team members
∎ Banking activities including reconciliation with Bank, to complete LC/ CAD opening formalities, document endorsement and payment reimbursement etc
∎ Customs Handling; Co-ordination with C&F agents, Freight Forwarders & Transporters to get imported goods clearance on-time
∎ Coordination with finance & accounting department regarding debit advice, shipment monitoring report, estimation of duties and taxes etc.
∎ Ensure all formalities laid out by suppliers and compliances are completed for smooth execution of import orders
∎ Warehouse management including standardization, setup and safety policy, compliance issue management etc.
∎ Critical complaint management & proactive attention through the works are must
∎ Gathering appropriate information from customers/ sales team to create customer master data base/KYC
Additional Requirements:
∎ Extensive working experience in Supply Chain Management & Logistic
∎ Excellent communication in English and leadership skill
∎ Practical knowledge in ERP system, like, JDE, SAP, etc.
∎ Vast knowledge in advance excel is preferable.
∎ Team player having excellent communication skill; being professional, honest and candid
∎ Ethical, Proactive and leadership skill
