∎ Should have practical knowledge of Fir procedure & Safety procedure.• Should have practical knowledge of electricity safety.• Should have Fire Safety Officer/Manager Course from BFSCD.• Should have depth knowledge installation of fire detection and protection.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise the maintenance of all fire safety works in the workplace. Conduct daily checks within the premises and remove or cause to be removed any fire hazard that is found within the workplace. Prepare and execute the Emergency Response Plan Train, coordinate and supervise the Company Emergency Response Team for the premises in first-aid, fire-fighting and evacuation in the event of a fire or other related emergencies. Co-ordinate and supervise the occupants within the premises in firefighting and in evacuation in the event of a fire or other related emergencies. Organize campaigns, training courses, competitions, contests and other activities that will develop and maintain the interest of the occupants within the premises in establishing a fire-safe environment. Assist to conduct the fire and emergency evacuation drill as per program / rule / policy to aware all workers / staffs during any fire or emergency incident. Assist to check all fire equipment’s on regular basis and to take appropriate maintenance measures for those equipment’s. Assist to make layout plan and fixing the firefighting equipment’s in proper locations depending on areas, machines and goods in an acceptable standard. Assist to identify the fire hazards areas and to take proper preventive measures on priority basis. Assist to monitor / supervise the electrical / power cables / loose wires properly and to take remedial measures immediately. To check machine maintenance and fire related books, registers , logs etc. correctly on a short schedule basis. To take initiatives for cleaning fire originated areas like cable trays / spider nets / dust remaining areas in coordination with the respective admin team. To report/ communicate with the related persons including government bodies for fire related issues as and when require instantly avoiding any fire hazards/ incident. To follow up & update fire license and all other fire related documents timely manner· To maintain liaison with Fire service civil defense authority regarding fire related issues. Any other assignment given by the management time to time
