Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, Production Manager to create effective monthly production plans.
∎ Review plans, ensuring optimal capacity, timely shipments, and cost reduction for increased profitability.
∎ Manage production planning staff and oversee raw material scheduling to meet production schedules.
∎ Study and optimize time and motion, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
∎ Supervise pre-production activities, maintaining back-to-back feeding to achieve targets without compromising quality.
∎ Create technical specifications and detailed product design plans.
∎ Source and select appropriate leather materials and hardware components.
∎ Work with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure quality and timely production.
∎ Conduct product testing and quality control checks to ensure adherence to specifications.
∎ Make design modifications or improvements based on feedback and test results.
∎ Monitor production progress and address any issues or delays that arise.
∎ Motivate and train workers to consistently meet uncompromising quality.
