∎ Assistant Teachers will:
∎ Support children with Autism in the classroom
∎ Assist with personal care
∎ Complete relevant training
∎ Support the teacher with planning and organisation of activities
∎ Play with the children on the playground
∎ Learn how to communicate with the children using visuals
∎ Phoenix School Sylhet is a school for children with autism that is modelled on Phoenix School London, an outstanding all age special school for pupils with autism. Phoenix school London is accredited through the National Autistic Society. You will be joining an exciting project with strong leadership and committed staffs who have worked in partnership with APASEN international.
∎ We are currently looking to appoint Assistant Teachers who are able to work with children aged between 4 and 9 years old. Candidates should ideally have some experience of working with children with special needs and have a desire to train and become excellent in this field.
